In the distant past ie before lockdown (anyone remember that?!) we used to hold an annual Gift Day on a Sunday in May, when we invited all church members to make a special one-off donation to St John’s, perhaps to thank God for a particular blessing received in the previous year. In 2020 we turned it into a month-long season of giving to allow as many people as possible to contribute, and we are doing the same this year.
Our Gift Day for 2021 will officially run throughout the whole month of August, and can be accessed online.
Donations can also be made by cheque or cash via the green envelopes in the church building (please write “Gift Day” on the envelope), or by bank transfer. For further details please contact our Regular Giving Officer Tina Hill via the Donate page.
