Councillor Hannah Gray, the Mayor of Bromley, was the guest of honour at our carol service on Sunday 18th December and joined in heartily with the singing of traditional carols.
Cllr Gray, a former professional opera singer, praised the quality of the St John’s choir as well as the warmth of the welcome she received from church members.
The Mayor was accompanied by her mother Jean and her Chaplain, Major Angela Strickland, who read the last of the nine Bible readings.
